Cooke City Motorsports is an Arctic Cat and Yamaha dealership located in the Rocky Mountains of Montana near the North East entrance of Yellowstone National Park. Cooke City is located 64 miles from Red Lodge, MT via the renowned Beartooth Highway in the summer months. Cooke City can be accessed in the winter months via Chief Joseph (296 just north of Cody, WY) as far as the Pilot Creek Parking area. From the parking area you can unload your snowmobile and ride the 12 miles into Cooke City.

We are a ‘ride out’ dealer… You can, literally, ride from our door to the riding areas in and around Cooke City. This area is a true departure point for deep powder snow and alpine terrain. With riding elevations between 7000 and 11200 feet and expected snowfall between November through June or July, you are guaranteed a premier backcountry experience.

With over 60 miles of groomed trails located in Montana, easy access to the ‘Top of the World’ plateau in Wyoming, and hosting some of the regions best vertical drops Cooke City has it all. We can assist you with suggested riding trails, snow reports, and rental gear. We provide the most functional equipment available as well as the necessary safety gear for superior mountain riding and backcountry skiing and snowboarding.
Regardless of your riding ability and experience Cooke City Motorsports has a fleet of mountain sleds outfitted to carry camera gear, packs, and sleds with snowboard and ski carriers – as well as tow ropes.
